SURGERY

Patients will need to have fasted (no eating/drinking) for 8 hours prior to their procedure/surgery time. Taking your morning medications with a small sip of water is okay. Please fast for 8 hours prior to your scheduled OR time.

Dr. Roth's Team

All surgeries performed by Dr. Roth include other team members: the anaesthesiologist (another physician who is in charge of sedation and/or pain control through the use of regional or general anaesthesia), the nursing team (at least 2 nurses are usually involved), and in some larger surgeries, an assistant surgeon. Dr. Roth is usually assisted by one of his urologist colleagues, Dr. Jonat, Dr. Faddegon, or Dr. Ottem. Operating room assistants are also involved in patient transfer and room sterilization.
